Monroe Plan for Medical Care sought to increase HPV vaccination compliance among its young, at-risk members by targeting them and their guardians with personalized engagement. The program focused on increasing the number of young boys and girls who not only scheduled an appointment to get the vaccine, but also completed all three injections in the series.
Utilizing highly-personalized and strategically timed text messages to educate, schedule and confirm vaccination appointments, Monroe Plan for Medical Care was able to increase adherence rates in all of its patient categories.
Program Goals and Outcomes:

Program Components:
Care Communications: Upon enrollment, participants receive text messages to support their vaccination journey. Topics include vaccination education, appointment reminders, scheduling, and follow- ups. Some messages lead to deeper content in the form of mobile web pages that provided deeper content related to the importance and benefits of timely and complete vaccinations. GoMo (Secure) Chat: Much like a typical text conversation, GoMo Chat allows live messaging between members and their care team, enabling in-the-moment, on demand conversations. Secure Data Collection and Reporting: Engagement and experience data is collected, deidentified, analyzed, and reported back to the organization for ongoing quality, clinical delivery, and service improvement.
