This module offers students the ability to understand and evaluate statistical data using SPSS software. Students will also gain an understanding of how appropriate statistical techniques are chosen for a particular context and present and interpret statistical information in a report. Students must participate in the workshop/lectures and gain a minimum of 50% in the coursework.

It provides a chance to investigate a professional practice challenge identified in Applied Research Methods, seeking a practical resolution through primary data collection, secondary data analysis, clinical audit, or service evaluation. Throughout the module, students are assigned a supervisor for personalised research guidance and support.
