W ELCOME TO LAE The London Academy of Excellence (LAE) is one of the highest-performing state sixth form colleges in the United Kingdom and the only academic sixth form with an unwavering commitment to social mobility. LAE consistently delivers outstanding A - level results but has achieved particular success helping students from less advantaged backgrounds gain places at the finest universities in the UK and around the world. LAE is committed to outstanding academic achievement but we are about much more than grades. Our intellectually exciting curriculum encourages a love of scholarship and a sense of wonderment about the world. Our students study hard but also participate in a rich and rewarding co - curricular programme including sport, music and the performing arts and opportunities for civic engagement.
