SUMMER CAMPS

SUMMER CAMP INFORMATION REGISTRATION UPDATE FOR SUMMER CAMPS The City of Dublin has adopted a new, simplified pricing and registration structure for parks and recreation services, including summer camps. Starting January 1, 2025, registration categories were divided into two groups: City of Dublin Residents and Non-Residents. For Summer Camps held at Dublin City Schools, all Dublin City Schools district residents will continue to receive preferred pricing and priority registration alongside City of Dublin residents. For camps held at all other locations, school district residents now fall into the Non-Resident category. SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION IS ONLINE ONLY To allow for a fair registration process, registration takes place online only at DublinOhioUSA.gov/recreation-services/dcrc/. There is no in-person or over-the-phone registration. PRIORITY REGISTRATION – ALL 9 WEEKS Camps available for Priority Registration: Wyandot Camp (both locations), Camp Kaltenbach and Extended Week Camp During priority registration, school district residents may only register for camps held inside a Dublin City School building. Priority registration begins at 6 a.m. Tuesday, March 4 for Dublin and school district residents who want to register and commit to the entire 9-week camp season. By choosing priority registration for the 9-week camp season, you are not eligible for refunds, credits or transfers. This policy is non-negotiable. Extended Week Camp secured during Priority Registration is eligible for refunds, credits or transfers, but only as outlined in the Refund/Credit & Transfer Policy established for our summer camps. Extended Week Camp must be added to your cart separately during your online Priority Registration enrollment. Please note that participating in Priority Registration DOES NOT GUARANTEE your child’s enrollment for the extended week. WEEKLY REGISTRATION Camps available for Weekly Registration: My First Camp, Playground Adventure Camp, Wyandot Next, Teen Adventure Camp and Counselor in Training During weekly registration, school district residents may only register for camps held inside a Dublin City School building. Weekly registration begins at 6 a.m. Thursday, March 6 , for Dublin and school district residents who would like to choose the weeks their child is registered for camp and be eligible for refunds, credits, and transfers. During this enrollment period, families may enroll in any weekly camp. Registering for camp on a week-to-week basis makes you eligible for refunds, credits or transfers, but only as outlined in the Camps Refund/Credit and Transfer Policy.

The core summer camp season begins June 2 and runs through Aug. 1 . Extended Week programming operates Aug. 4-8. Camps are open to preschool, youth and teen participants. The American Camp Association© (ACA) has recognized our Wyandot Camp for achieving ACA-Accredited© status for 2025. ACA is the only independent accrediting organization reviewing camp operations in the country. Its nationally recognized standards program focuses primarily on the program quality, health and safety aspects of a camp’s operation. ACA collaborates with experts from the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Red Cross, and other youth-serving agencies to ensure that current practices at the camp reflect the most up-to-date, research-based standards in camp operation. For more parent-focused information about accreditation, visit ACA’s website at acacamps.org/campers-families.
