Join Ms. Barbara at the DCRC Pond for a fun, family evening of fishing! Get up close and hands-on with nature as we practice techniques to catch fish, including how to properly cast and catch. Equipment and supplies are provided, however families are welcome to bring their own poles. This program is open to all ages. All participants who plan to actively engage (e.g., fish) must register and pay the associated fee. The registration fee covers the supplies provided for the program. Parent or provider participation is required for individuals under the age of 18, as well as for participants who may require supervision or support throughout the duration of the program. Live animal visitors, including birds, mammals, and reptiles, are featured as we explore their amazing adaptations. Learn how we can help wildlife in our own backyards, prevent conflicts, and peacefully coexist with the animals that share our space. It’s a fun and educational experience you won’t want to miss! This program is open to all ages. All participants who plan to attend must register and pay the associated fee.
