Amazing Athletes: Karate Zoo Amazing Athletes Staff This high-energy, progression-based program teaches the fundamentals of martial arts in a safe and nurturing environment. We use our Amazing Athletes Muscle Zoo characters to teach karate skills and values like discipline, patience and respect. Each character Muscle Zoo character is linked to a muscle, muscle movement and isometric movement. In this way, children are also taught about different wild animals including where they live, what color they are, what food they eat and what sounds they make. Due to the age of participants, parents/guardians must remain on-site for bathroom breaks, behavioral interventions or additional assistance.
Little Sluggers Bally Sports Group Staff
Bally Sports Group’s Little Sluggers is a great introduction to the game of baseball for young children. Using age-appropriate activities, players are introduced to the fundamentals of baseball in an atmosphere that is supportive, fun and encouraging. Each week, the program includes an instructional portion that introduces players to batting, base running, fielding, throwing, catching and a modified game. The Little Sluggers T-ball program provides your child with a fun and positive T-ball experience that encourages continued participation in the sport. Participants bring their own baseball glove; all other equipment is provided by Bally Sports Group. Program fee includes a team hat and T-shirt. Parent participation is welcomed, but Bally Sports staff lead the program. Due to the age of participants, parents/guardians must remain on-site for bathroom breaks, behavioral interventions or additional assistance.
