The 2025 Outstanding Building of the Year Award Competition (TOBY) kicks off on July 31 and we are happy to bring you the new TOBY Buddy System . Through the Power of Teamwork, We Can Achieve Together. If you have thought about entering your building into the TOBY competition but don’t know where to start, we’ve got your back. The new TOBY Buddy System will help guide you through the application process. Applications for the $2000 2025 BOMA Foundation Scholarships also open on July 31. Candidates for consideration must be related to or already be a BOMA Metro Detroit member and be admitted to an accredited education organization such as: Building Owners and Managers Institute, (BOMI) University Trade schools And to wrap up, I invite you to donate a stuffed animal or two for our Children’s Hospital Christmas gift. Rachel and I are collecting stuffed animals at every BOMA event. And we are happy to meet up with you for the elusive giant Panda Bear!
