NOTES: 1. Both short and long style runner spreaders may be used with baffle type or cas- cade type cooling. 2. To maintain constant area for metal flow, always use short style spreaders with short style bushings and long style spreaders with long style bushings. 3. Inlet diameter of the sprue bushing should be equal to or smaller than the outlet diameter of the gooseneck.
