WELCOME TO GENERAL TRADES
Through hands-on learning and engaging projects, students explore diverse trades, honing their abilities and preparing for success in today’s workforce. Our program empowers students of all abilities to thrive and pursue rewarding careers in the trades.
Throughout the program, General Trades students are immersed in a variety of hands-on activities and real-world simulations that mirror the demands of the workforce. From carpentry to cooking, students gain practical experience in diverse trades, honing their skills and gaining confidence in their abilities. Through exciting projects and dynamic learning opportunities, students develop key employability skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, communication, customer service and money management. In essence, the General Trades Employability Skills Program at Region 10 Technical High School offers students a dynamic and inclusive learning experience that prepares them for success in the workforce and beyond.
