It of- fers the perfect mix of a short fami - ly-tailored hike that offers the classic lush Oregon moss and ferns, culmi- nating in a stunning 315-foot-tall waterfall. What was most noteworthy? While the trail is stunningly beauti- ful, lined with moss, sword ferns, and other vibrant green coastal plants, Munson Falls is an absolute gem. It is the tallest waterfall on the Oregon Coast Range. Are there restrooms? No. Please practice Leave No Trace ethics. Know before you go? Depending on the time of year, the road in to the trailhead can be mud- dy and rutted. Beware low clear- ance vehicles and drive in at your own risk. Where to celebrate after? Drive back to Tillamook and enjoy excellent food and a local experience at the Tillamook Cheese Factory. How do you get there? From Tillamook, drive approximate - ly 6-7 miles south on Highway 101.
