July 14: Summer Yoga Series ‘Mats & Mimosas’ at Sam’s Anchor Café Want to start your mornings off right? Join Pelican Pose Yoga and Sam’s Anchor Café for the summer yoga series: Mats & Mimosas. From 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. on July 14 participants will be led by holistic wellness coach and yoga teacher Hannah Price through a sequence of yoga poses, breathwork and calming exercises. Afterwards, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. indulge in brunch at Sam’s Anchor Café, 27 Main St., Tiburon. Class fees are $20 per person and all proceeds will be donated to the Bay Area Rescue Mission’s Center for Women & Children. July 20: Tour de France Ride & Watch Professional cyclist Peter Stetina will guide participants on a morning road ride through Napa Valley on July 20 from 9 to 11 a.m. The two-time Tour de France rider will lead experienced cyclists—road rides average between 13 to 17 mph—to The Village for lunch and a Tour De France watch party with Stetina’s commentary from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Road bikes and helmets are required, riders will meet at Stanly Ranch, 200 Stanly Crossroad in Napa on the day of the event. July 22: Olive Oil & Gelato Tasting Daily at McEvoy Ranch McEvoy Ranch, 5935 Red Hill Road, is partnering with local gelato company Fiorello’s Artisan Gelato to offer guests a unique tasting experience on July 22. Tickets are $30 per person and a reservation is required. Attendees will sample three cups of custom McEvoy Extra Virgin Olive Oil Gelato paired with award-winning Blood Orange Olive Oil, Organic Chair Olive Oil and Organic Ginger Turmeric Olive Oil. July 26: Festa Italiana—A Mid- Summer Italian Festival In celebration of its Italian heritage, V. Sattui Winery is hosting its annual Festa Italiana on July 26 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. This outdoor festival transports guests to the villages of Toscana and Lombardia. With delightful libations, lively music and flavorful bites this is set to be a night at V. Sattui Winery—1111 White Lane—that attendees will never forget. July 21: Bee Experienced at Heidrun Meadery You will never bee-lieve the opportunity Heidrun Meadery is offering! Guests will have the chance to learn more about Heidrun’s, 11925 State Route 1, apicultural program with hands-on experience on July 21. Participants will don beekeeping suits and head to the apiary and discover the inner workings of a hive from beekeepers Bonnie and Gary. You will also be able to jar and take home some of your very own estate honey. After, guests will learn how honey is made into mead and then partake in a mead tasting. Tickets are $130 per person. July 27: Hot Amphitheater Nights in Novato
With the summer season in full swing, live outdoor concerts are back! Novato Parks, Recreation &
Community Services is continuing the Hot Amphitheater Nights this year at Hamilton Amphitheater, 601 N. Hamilton Parkway. On July 27 a reggae/rock band, the Soulshake, will be performing from 5 to 7 p.m. Outside food and drink are welcome at this free community event as well as picnic blankets and lawn chairs.
