Aug. 4: Blanc de Blancs + Oyster Pairing Chandon, 1 California Drive, is pairing flights of blanc de blancs with oysters, on Aug. 4, in partnership with the Wild Oyster Project. These larger communal style tastings can seat up to 24, each flight consists of Chandon’s chardonnay-based sparkling wines— made in three different winemaking styles. Three different kinds of California coast oysters are paired with each flight. The featured wine/oyster pairings include Chandon By The Bay and Marin miyagi; Reserve Blanc de Blancs and Point Reyes and Barrel Fermented Blanc de Blancs with Kumamoto oyster. Every Wednesday Wines and Sunsets at Paradise Ridge Winery Enjoy a glass of Paradise Ridge Winery’s finest and bask in the breathtaking sunsets of the Russian River Valley. July 21: Hot Summer Fizz With the sweltering July weather, guests can cool themselves down with a nice fizz on July 21. July 14: Petaluma Art & Garden Festival On July 14 the Petaluma Art & Garden Festival will showcase local hand- selected vendors. A variety of local crafters, artisans and gardeners will show off their products to the community from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Experts will be on hand to offer guidance on any gardening- related questions. There will also be live music and an array of local wineries, breweries, restaurants and food purveyors. The festival takes
July 26-27: Flavors of Spain/ Flamenco Wine Dinner St. Francis Winery & Vineyards, 100 Pythian Road at Highway 12, will host a Flavors of Spain Flamenco Wine Dinner event on July 26 and 27. Guests will have the opportunity to saunter through the Vineyard Portico—dining on Spanish-style tapas, enjoying authentic live entertainment and drinking award- winning wines. After dinner, the grand dining hall will have guests feeling as though they have just landed in Spain with live guitar and flamenco dancing. Aug. 10: Lobster Feed & Harvest Kick Off To kick off the harvest season Eleven Eleven Wines, 620 Trancas St., is hosting a lobster feed on Aug. 10. Vintner Ellie Anest and the winemaking team will also introduce guests to the 2022 Dutton Ranch Chardonnay. Enjoy the scenery at the Red Barn from 5:30 to 8 p.m., sip chardonnay and take in the sounds of live music. Space is limited and ticket prices are $225 per person.
