Professional success requires multi-skilled expertise in specialized fields. And as companies expand their business objectives, they also need to retain their top employees and provide opportunities to learn and keep up with critical skills for new technologies. For these on-the-job training experiences, accessible and easy-to-use training materials and effective skill mapping are essential. A 2021 Gallup poll showed that 57% of workers across the country want to update their skills, and 48% would even change their job in order to do so. Millennial and Gen Z workers are coming to expect this support from their workplace, with 29% indicating that they chose their current employer based on their learning and development opportunities. By 2025, over half of all employees will need reskilling and workforce planning trends forecast that 40% of this training can be completed in 6 months or less.
