Dear Students, How is it that we are at the end of the school year? This school year has certainly flown by! I hope that you had an amazing school year and that it has flown by for you as well! Speaking of flying, I was driving in my car yesterday and I saw this Turkey Vulture on the side of the road. Turkey Vultures can be thought of as cleaning up the litter on the road as they eat the carcasses of dead animals. I watched, in horror, as the bird attempted to take off in flight, only to collide with my

window of the car. It completely tore up my side mirror. If I had had my window down it would have ended up in the car with me. Thankfully, it was just stunned, and minus a bunch of feathers, it was ok. This got me curious about Turkey Vultures and I did some research. I found some fascinating facts about them that I would love to share!
