As the director of marketing and intake at Marc Whitehead & Associates, Natalie focuses her talents on finding the best ways to connect with our clients. Having developed her skills while studying advertising in college and then honing them in at agencies, she’s well-versed in her role and enjoys the blend of art and science that is marketing. It’s a field Natalie has been interested in since she was a kid. “In elementary school, I’d watch TV and tell my parents that I wanted to be the person who was behind the commercials,” Natalie says. Today, she’s putting her knowledge to use and helping our clients connect with people who can help them. She says that when she saw the posting pop up at our firm, it struck her that “it fit everything I’ve ever done. Here, I get to see the whole timeline of the process. When a client comes in, I enjoy learning more about them, their struggles, and how we can help them. I see the human side of it.” Outside of work, Natalie enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, Veronica, who’s a budding gymnast. The family loves traveling and the outdoors, especially adventures that combine the two. “Our favorite place by far is Big Bend National Park in West Texas, about 10 hours from here,” Natalie says. “It has a stunning, pristine beauty. There’s no cell service, so we just get to unplug and spend time together.” In fact, when the floods hit Houston over Memorial Day weekend in 2015, the family was camping, and she says, “It took us until our drive back — when we were about two hours away and finally got cell service — to find out what had happened. We had about twenty missed calls from concerned family and friends.” When they’re not off having adventures in nature, Natalie and her family are probably watching Texas sports, especially TCU Horned Frog football.
