Indoor Pick-up Basketball
Stop by the Sanibel Recreation Center and shoot some hoops on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. and on Saturdays from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. Pick-up basketball will begin on Tuesday, January 2nd. Bring your own ball or use our limited supply.

Pick-up Pickleball
Stop by the Recreation Center and take advantage of our pick-up pickleball. Paddles and balls are available at the front desk for public use (limited supply). Indoor Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat: 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Wed 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Outdoor Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday 8:00 a.m.- 11:30 a.m. Pick-up Tennis will take place on Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Limited racquets are available on a first come first serve basis. Let’s Jazz it up with weekly musical themes from Pop to Rock. There will be costume days, karaoke, and musical guests. Enjoy all your favorite field trips, inflatables, crafts, swim time, and more. *Light Breakfast and Lunch provided by Lee County School Summer Feeding Program.*
The Sanibel Recreation Department collaborated with Lee County Parks and Recreation and The Special Olympics on April 21st at Community Park for the Backyard games. The Special Olympics visited Sanibel to prepare for their upcoming state competition in May. Special thanks to Donald Payne for coordinating this event!
