Las Vegas was buzzing with more than just casino lights last month at the Vegas Cosmetic Surgery Convention (VCS). This year’s VCS brought together the brightest minds in aesthetic medicine to share their insights on the industry’s latest innovations. Over the three days of the convention, the ClinicGrower team met and networked with incredible clinic leaders, scientists, doctors, and people who were creating new solutions to help patients look, feel, and be better than ever! We learned so much and made incredible connections during this year’s conference, and we’re excited to share the latest in the aesthetic world with you. From the nonsurgical procedure actor Charlie Sheen swears by to brilliant new skin-tightening devices, VCS was a true highlight of innovation and an inspiring glimpse into what the future holds for clinic patients. Topical Insulin Aesthetic Nurse Mike Clague shared his “game- changers” in the topical application of insulin for facial rejuvenation. His technique combines micro-needling (RF and non-RF) with fast-acting insulin to deliver greater clinical outcomes and higher patient satisfaction as a standalone service. This treatment is a popular and safe method to build collagen and reduce wrinkles and scarring. Practices that combine this
technique with dermal fillers and neurotoxins are seeing excellent results with longer-term success. Y-Lift When Actor Charlie Sheen was looking for a non-surgical solution for a neck lift, he turned to the Y-Lift technique. We also delved into some of the legal implications of medications from out of state and the emerging restrictions in some jurisdictions on GLP-1R antagonists, a class of drugs used for diabetes and weight loss. We left the VCS with a wealth of knowledge, inspiring connections, and excitement for the latest advances in aesthetic medicine. He is hyperfocused on super strategies and works with the team and new clients to get the best results for our practice owners. His marketing journey started when he was quite young, working with a nonprofit on their marketing efforts. The more he learned about consumer behavior, trends, and analytics, the more he fell in love with the power of solid marketing to grow businesses. After working for several marketing agencies, Damien discovered ClinicGrower. Within a few months, he was promoted from an associate to digital marketing manager. Damien said one of the things he likes most about being part of
the team is the opportunity to grow his career and learn from some of the best. “They are not just employing people; they’re finding emerging leaders,” he said.
