Cristo Rey Tampa is the only high school of its kind in Tampa Bay that combines a rigorous college preparatory curriculum, Catholic moral values, and four years of real-world professional work experience to ensure students from limited economic means get to and through college — ready and able to achieve anything they can dream. Cristo Rey Tampa is one of nearly 40 high schools in the national Cristo Rey Network® that brings together families, churches, and the business community to reimagine what education looks like and make it accessible to students who would otherwise not have the opportunity. This innovative model is helping break the cycle of poverty and inequity in Tampa Bay and beyond. By partnering with more than 50 local businesses and organizations through our Corporate Work Study Program, students gain professional job experience, confidence, and skills while funding nearly half of their tuition.
