A. It is true that there are many colleges and universities today which have gone far afield from the teach­ ing of their founders. The same, however, can be said for churches. Recently on the West Coast, a church, formerly an excellen t force for Christ, has become so polluted it now is advocating the recognition of ho­ mosexuality as a plausible way of life. To make such broad and general statements such as this fellow has done is most tragic and unfortunate. In preparing a will, one should first keep in mind those who may be de­ pendent upon him. Then, what better way to see the Lord’s money used than in the furtherance of an evan­ gelical school, m ission or local church? Many Christians do not make adequate provisions and as a result the government receives the inheritance. There is one other point to which we would take exception. We may not understand what the speaker originally said. However, no one can manifestly give “all” to the Lord all the time. God wants us to use the common sense He has given us. Biola has the privilege of work­ ing with many wonderful born-again attorneys in many areas of the coun­ try. They are readily able to draw up proper instruments and documents which will assure the donor that his money will be used by the organiza­ tion mentioned only so long as it re­ mains true to its historic principle and doctrine.
