THE TWO-STORY NAVY LACROSSE CENTER WILL CELEBRATE THE HISTORY AND TRADITIONS OF NAVY LACROSSE, WHILE SERVING AS A TESTAMENT TO THE NAVAL ACADEMY'S COMMITMENT TO THE PHYSICAL MISSION OF THE BRIGADE OF MIDSHIPMEN. THE MEN AND WOMEN WHO PLAY FOR NAVY LACROSSE WILL TRAIN, LEARN AND BUILD RELATIONSHIPS IN ONE OF COLLEGE LACROSSE'S PREEMINENT FACILITIES. EVERY AREA AND DETAIL OF THE NAVY LACROSSE CENTER IS DESIGNED FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF OUR MIDSHIPMEN AND WOULD PROVIDE THE RESOURCES FOR THE NAVY MEN'S AND WOMEN'S LACROSSE PROGRAMS TO COMPETE FOR AND WIN CHAMPIONSHIPS AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL. COACHES' OFFICES, LOCKER ROOMS AND WARDROOMS FOR BOTH THE MEN'S AND WOMEN'S PROGRAMS WILL PROVIDE CUTTING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY AND AMENITIES TO INCLUDE ATHLETIC TRAINING AND REHABILITATION SPACES, A STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING FACILITY, A NUTRITION CENTER AND THEATER. ADDITIONALLY, A ROOFTOP TERRACE THAT FEATURES A 360-DEGREE VIEW OF THE NAVAL ACADEMY AND THE SEVERN RIVER IS PLANNED AND WILL PROVIDE AN INVITING GATHERING SPACE FOR RECRUITS AND THEIR FAMILIES, AS WELL AS SPACE TO HOST SPECIAL TEAM AND ALUMNI EVENTS.

The two-story open atrium is the heart of the facility through which all athletes, visitors, and staff come together. Flooded with light, the atrium is physically connected to all areas of the building and showcases the storied history of navy acrosse. On dispay, are the men’s and women’s team championships and other athletic accomplishments. ATRIUM
“Forged By The Sea.” This strength and conditioning facility holds the elements to motivate student-athletes not only in strength, conditioning, and speed but in mental toughness, perseverance, and determination. These tangible and intangible qualities are vital elements for achieving success on and off the fields of competition and as officers in the fleet. STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING FACILITY
Proper nutrition is critical to allow the student-athletes to constantly perform at their highest level every day. Each student-athlete is prescribed an individual nutritional program that will be served from this location. Managing nutrition in today’s competitive environment is created for optimum performance. MEN'S HEAD COACH OFFICE
The men's head coach office is designed to host private conferences, one on one meetings with midshipmen, staff, and recruits while overlooking the beautiful Severn River. This office has direct access to the river view terrace.
EXECUTIVE CONFERENCE ROOM Located just above the main entrance to the building, with views of the river and fields, this stunning conference room is able to hold arger meetings with staff, special team units, and small events.
MEN’S HEAD COACH A weight room that holds the abil- ity to push athletes not only in strength, but in speed as well, and is a vital element for ultimate success on the field. WOMEN'S HEAD COACH OFFICE The women's head coach office is designed to host private conferences, one on one meetings with midshipmen, staff, and recruits while overlooking the beautiful Severn River. In academics or athletics, one grows stronger in a team environment. The wardroom is the pace for the men’s acrosse team to gather and further develop reationships and unity off the field. This wardroom has direct access to the wardroom balcony. CAPT. OWEN THORP WARDROOM
ROOFTOP TERRACE Located on the third floor, the outdoor seating selection has 360 views of the academy, the practice fields, and the Severn River. A space for reflection or arge team gatherings. There is no finer location on the yard to host recruiting visits, parents, friends or alumni, or hold team events, than this space.
WOMEN'S WARDROOM In academics or athletics, one grows stronger with team unity. The wardroom is where the women’s acrosse team can gather and further develop reationships off the field. This wardroom has direct access to the wardroom balcony.
MEN'S LOCKER ROOM
A championship caliber team calls for a first-cass locker room. While programs become more resource competitive, all facilities that service the program must rise to the stature as well. This locker room facility will be second to none in Division I collegiate acrosse.
ATHLETIC TRAINING ROOM
This state-of-the-art athletic training and rehabilitation center is equipped with hydrotherapy pools, a sauna room, an underwater treadmill, and an exam room. This area is dedicated to student-athlete well-being and injury prevention. Located directly off the atrium, our student-athletes are not removed from a visual connection to all the center’s activities.
WOMEN’S LOCKER ROOM As one of the top Division I women’s acrosse programs in the country, a state-of-the-art facility is expected. Each locker is fitted out for the specific needs of the individual acrosse athlete. Designed with the atest technology and top-of-the-line finishes, this space will enhance success.
HYDROTHERAPY RECOVERY SUITE Within the Training Room and Recovery Suite, the Hydrotherapy Recovery Suite will include multiple pools to provide each athlete with state-of-the- art recovery to enhance training and individual performance.
The Legacy of Excellence Wall honors the men and women acrosse payers who have demonstrated leadership on, and off the field and pays tribute to those who have provided service to our country and society as a whole. LEGACY OF EXCELLENCE WALL
THEATER Located on the second floor of the center, the amphitheater style film theater seats up to 80 student-athletes and is equipped with the atest film and multimedia technology. This facility will be used by the teams, recruits, and visitors alike.
The Donor Wall, located in the atrium, recognizes and honors those who have contributed towards the Navy Lacrosse Center. The names will be etched in stone and are a monumental piece to the next chapter of Navy Lacrosse. DONOR WALL
