MOT Type 1 Down Limestone
Often referred to as hardcore or crusher run, this naturally sourced crushed stone is used as a subbase due to its composition and compressive strength. Conforming to the requirements of the Ministry of Transport, 40mm down-to-dust limestone is cost-effective and can be compacted tightly to create a solid foundation for many different purposes including highway construction, building bases, driveways, or patios. Available as 40mm down to dust in two bag sizes: Half Grab Bag and Grab Bag.
Concrete Sand
Often referred to as sharp or grit sand, Concrete Sand is often used as a top layer on aggregate sub-bases and can also be mixed with plastering and building sand in mortar mixes. Coarser than building sand, it is suitable for applications that require strength and solidity, such as concrete mixes, less flexible mortar mixes, and paving and floor screeds. Castle Cement
For general purpose use in concrete, mortar, render and screed, this cement is compatible for use with a wide range of admixtures and additions, and can be mixed with building sand and water as a bedding layer on porcelain paving flags. Available in one bag size: 25kg.
