Cancellation Policy All products listed within this catalogue should be carefully inspected for defects and/or damage at point of delivery. We will not accept refunds if the product has been laid, fitted or installed. The end date of our cancellation period is 14 days after the day on which you receive your goods. For example: if we provide you with a dispatch confirmation on 1 January and you receive the goods on 10 January, you may cancel at any time between 1 January and the end of the day on 24 January. However, this cancellation right does not apply in the case of: any goods that are made to your specifications or are clearly personalised; any goods that are marked as 'made to order'; any goods that are non-stock items and which are identified as such on our website; any goods which become mixed inseparably with other items after their delivery; any goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly; and finally any goods (or any part of any goods) that have been used or altered by you unless faulty. To cancel a contract with C & W Berry, you simply need to get in contact to let us know. The easiest method is to complete the cancellation form on our website. If you utilise this method we will email you to confirm that we have received your cancellation. Alternatively, you can email us at websales@cwberry.com or contact our customer services team by telephone on 01772 431216. If you are emailing us, please include details of your order, including the order reference, to help us to identify it. If you send us your cancellation notice by email, then your cancellation is effective from the date you send us the email. For example, you will have given us notice in time as long as you email us before midnight on that day. Our business consists of a joiners' workshop manufacturing bespoke joinery items, a sawmill and treatment plants processing timber components and a single sales outlet covering builders’ merchanting, plumbing and heating, electrical wholesaling, ironmongery and hardware distribution and insulation distribution. All Directors in the business have been briefed on the subject. We believe that being a single-site business where the directors of the business have direct contact with all members of staff and are directly involved in the recruitment process, renders the risk of undetected slavery occurring within the business as very low. There is a high degree of confidence that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place within the business. Health & Safety The vast majority of the products featured in this catalogue are over 25kg or are considered awkward in shape and/or size. They should therefore be handled by more than one person or with suitable lifting equipment to prevent against injury. It is also advisable to wear gloves and eye protection when handling to prevent potential burns from wet mortar and/or abrasion/debris. Product Stock Due to the ongoing situation and current industry demands there may be intermittent delays on some of the products advertised in this catalogue. We will do all that we can to minimise delays, and we will advise you of the expected delivery date of your items at the time of purchase. There may also be extended lead times on some product lines and in some instances we may offer an alternative product or be forced to cancel all or part of your order.
