times, even in the most ordinary moments of life. No Christian is beyond the pos sibility of emotional stress. It may come at the conclusion of some unusual blessings. This can cause spiritual pride, fear, self pity and doubts concerning God's care and faithfulness. Both physical and spir itual revival are often needed by God's choicest servants. What is your situation today? Turn to the Lord Jesus Christ for the all-suffi cient answer. LESSONS FROM ADVERSITY It is important for each of us to face up to our real selves. We need to realize that everyone experi ences emotional strains in life. We can expect that so long as we are in this world there will be trials and testings. Thank Cod, through the Holy Spirit, we are given the strength, wisdom and power to live victoriously.

Psalm 73 shows us the reason ings of one who considered the prosperity of the wicked and the suffering of the saints. It always seems so paradoxical. The same questions Asaph faced plague us today. Is there no justice here on earth? Where can we find an an swer? Beginning at verse 15 we see the change which comes in the understanding. The writer says that by going into the sanctuary of Cod he gets a different view on the end results. Look at God's judgment upon all those who deal wickedly. There is a balancing of the books! Instead of following the crowd, Asaph got alone with the Lord and His Word. Here he learned some valuable lessons out of ad versity and testings. Such things make us more dependent upon the Lord. No real child of God could rightly join the backslidden in their deeds and words.
