World Renowned Hymns is the song book that contains all the best songs used by Dr. R. A. Torrey in his around-the-world evangelistic campaigns. It is a collection of hymns that have stirred many nations and of new hymns that promise to become famous for Evangelistic Meetings, Prayer Meetings, Sunday Schools, Young People’s Societies, and the Regular Services of the Church This book is edited by Dr. Torrey, who says in the preface: “ I have compiled and edited this book because I have found no book that just satisfies me. I have felt that there was a need of a book that com bined the classic hymns of the church with the masterpieces of modern hymnology which appeared in con nection with Mr. Moody’s "campaign, and also with the best recent Gospel hymns.” Prices: Cloth Boards, 30c per copy, post paid ; $25.00 per hundred, express not paid. Many readers of “ T he K ing ' s B us iness " who have, from time to time, seen songs with the music composed by our music director, Professor L. F. Peckham, will be glad to know that at last we are issuing these songs in pamphlet form. However, other hymn writers are represented. Mr. Charles H. Marsh has contributed several of his best songs, as have also Messrs. N. L. Ridderhof, F, A. Graves, Jean Howard, C. B. McAfee, and others. The NEW Song-Book is entitled TheGospel inSong and is a splendid collection of the very best there is in the way of solos, duets, quartettes, choir numbers, and congre gational songs, mostly new, thirty-one in all, including that beautiful num ber “ There’s a Friend in the Home land,” by C. A. Havens. This fine new song-book is especially well adapted to choir and solo use, and will be found very valuable in convention work. The editor has received many let ters telling how greatly blessed has been the use of Mr. Haven’s hymn an them, “ There’s a Friend in the Home land.” Also, by word o f mouth, from every side comes the testimony of the great power in reaching the heart of this simple and wonderfully sweet number. The book is edited and compiled by Professor Leaman F. Peckham, Sup erintendent of Music in The Bible In stitute of Los Angeles. The net prices are as follows: 10 cents each, postpaid. $1.00 per dozen; $7.50 per hundred, not prepaid.
