Everyone ’ s voice matters. YOUR story can make positive change. How can you make a difference? Lobby Day is proof that your voice can make an impact. Join the Political Action Committee (PAC) at the state capitol and share your story in front of Washington State’s Lawmakers to advocate for bills that will make positive change in our community and the CWU campus. Lobby Day The Governmental Affairs Office gives interested students a free trip to Olympia to speak directly to government officials in our capitol February 8-9. Students are given five minutes in front of lawmakers to voice their concerns, tell their stories and advocate for change. If you’re reading this and thinking your story doesn't matter, last Lobby Day the Washington State Legislature passed several bills and funding that have made real changes here on campus, thanks in part to the brave students who shared their truth. One of the changes already happening is the development of a new Multicultural Center!
