Comexi, Asahi To Host Platemaking Event
Asahi Photoproducts, a producer of flexographic photopolymer plates, will be co-hosting an event for the flexible packaging industry with Comexi at the Comexi CTec customer conference center in Gi- rona, Spain. The event, scheduled for November 8, 2023, will also feature technologies, presentations, and demonstrations from a variety of other partners, in- cluding ESKO, Hamillroad, tesa, hubergroup, FGS Flexographic Solutions and OQ Chemicals. Real-Time Creation During the event, visitors will view real-time plate creation for two different jobs using Asahi AWP wa- ter-washable Carbon Neutral plates, as well as live printing of those jobs on a Comexi F2 Origin flex- ographic press configured with hubergroup Pro- pyl solvent inks in a 7-color expanded color gamut (ECG) configuration. The two jobs will be run back-to-back, demon- strating the ease of changing jobs with one printing sleeve change, according to Asahi.
