Wind- ing through meadows, preserving majestic stands of trees, and complement- ing the contours of the terrain, the course offers a golfing experience that is spectacular by nature. Wide, generous landing areas, strategically placed bunkers and greens that are clearly visible from virtually every fairway shot define this course. Five sets of tees offer golfers of every skill level a chance to enjoy a relaxing, yet challenging game of golf. Talking Rock opened for play in September of 2002. It was designed by the late Jay Morrish (1936-2015). The golf course consists of 75 acres of turf. It is irrigated with 75% well water, 25% reclaimed water. It has 71 total bunkers equaling 4.6 acres of sand. The average green size is 7,000 square feet. Green speeds average 10 plus feet on a year round basis.
