Watch a Live Performance Entertainment is something Central is not short of. No matter what you are interested in, there is a show you won’t want to miss. Check out our student comedians and actors in the Hot New Jam, Central’s best (and only) improv team! Reserve your tickets now for Central Theatre Ensemble's Spring production of Footloose. Looking for a laid-back night of entertainment? Open Mic Night is hosted in the Holmes Dining Room every month! Enjoy the works of our talented musicians and vocalists at the many recitals and concerts held in the McIntyre Music Building over the quarter. The opportunities for a great night out are endless. Go Take a Hike! What better way to spend spring than with nature? Answer: there isn’t one. Get grounded, get moving, and breathe in some fresh air on a hike. I’ll let you google and find your new favorite spot, or tag along on one of OPR’s great adventures but just promise me you’ll get out of the house and find your inner granola. There were so many times during winter quarter when we wished it was nice enough to go outside, so take advantage now! Curl Up at the Library If you’ve elected for some lighter classes this spring, and don’t have all of those pesky textbooks to read this quarter, don’t let up on those reading habits! Check out The Attic at Brooks Library fourth floor to find a comfy spot.
Celebrate Yourself! There is no better way to celebrate yourself than during Student Appreciation Week. From May 20-23 each day hosts free student events and activities to enjoy. Soak in the sun, snack on free food, and take delight in this week created just for you! You can expect fun activities like an outdoor movie, karaoke, game night, and more leading up to the grand finale: Sweecy Day!
