Bon voyage autour du monde à la bibliothèque

Le globe-trotteur Jadrino Huot s’est as- suré de maintenir l’attention des enfants de 6 à 12 ans en posant de multiples ques- tions sur les thèmes abordés. Ils ont appris que la petite otarie brait, telle une chèvre, la différence entre un éléphant d’Asie ou d’Afrique et même un peu d’Inuktitut. «Ma conférence tombait bien avec le thème Bon voyage du club de lecture. Ça leur ouvre de nouveaux horizons, alors qu’ils sont petits. J’aurais aimé avoir cette chance là», confie Jadrino Huot. «Nous voulons montrer aux enfants ce qu’il y a en dehors du Canada, ce qui se fait à travers le monde», explique la coordonnatrice du club de lecture, Dominique Tessier. Parmi les activités offertes cet été au club,
les enfants ont fait un safari-chasse aux tré- sors dans la bibliothèque, afin de découvrir les animaux d’Afrique et ont pu dessiner les
drapeaux de multiples pays. La saison se terminera le mercredi 14 avec la remise de prix de participation.
