Central Washington University Board of Trustees October 18, 2019 ACTION - 2020-2021 Housing and Dining Rate Approval
Business and Financial Affairs and Student Success seek authorization to increase the room and board rate up to 4 percent in the aggregate for the 2020-2021 academic year (fiscal year 2021). The proposed rates are in accordance with the comprehensive Housing and Dining Financial Master Plan which provides long term strategies to fund building preservation and enhancement, address deferred maintenance, furniture replacement, improved security, as well as cover costs associated with utility rate increases, minimum wage increases, and planned salary increases. The President’s Budget Advisory Committee, Cabinet and President supported the draft request.
We recommend the following motion:
The Board of Trustees of Central Washington University hereby approves the Auxiliary Services Housing and Dining maximum rate increase, not to exceed 4 percent in the aggregate, for fiscal year 2021. Submitted: Approved for submittal to the Board:
