lines of studies on fundamental doctrines of the Christian faith, and pray God will bless His own Word to her.—W.

wit!} downcast head 'during class, only once in a while peering out of the corner of her eyes at the teacher sitting next to her. The Word very evidently touched her. She was willing to come to the next class and soon was very, definitely saved and the craving for cigarettes entirely taken away. It was a most wonderful testimony to the power of God’s Word.—H. The following is the; work of a little Gos pel of John: Calling one day, the. way opened to speak to a neighbor who dropped in at the .same time. While she did not ac cept*the Lord, she took the Gospel and. said she would be very glad to have me /come and see her in her own home. Two weeks passed before going and then her little girl said, “Papa is sick, and mamma works every day.” So it seemed the way was closed to see her again. Some weeks later we were urged to go and see a man who was dying with tubercular trouble and unsaved. He proved to be this woman’s husband. There was no Bible in the house, but they had been reading the little Gospel and it had done, a work in their hearts. . As best they knew, they were trusting in it. They both came out clear for the Master, the man showing wonderful faith and trust for the few weeks he was spared. A special interview with a Catholic wo man whose name was given to me last week, resulted in her expressing'a desire for defi nite Bible study. She seemed to under stand the necessity for the shed blood for remission of sins,- but is untaught and does not realize her privileges ks a Christian by Christ through grace. : Ephesians' 2 :8-10 made a strong impression on hèr and she got her Bible and read it, then turned down the leaf, saying she was going to read all of the passage again. We had prayer together and she said she would be glad to have defi nite Bible study, but having to support her self, is unable to attend day classes. Several homes of Christian people were visited last week, and in some cases words of warning concerning false teaching were given, and also some doctrinal instruction. People are not realizing the awfulness of these times, and the need of.a close walk with Him, and recently I have found it nec essary to give many warnings even to God’s people about the Evil One’s workings in trying to draw God’s children away from the truth. One woman, a church member and, .1 am sure, a Christian, was very much upset by the efforts of a Holiness woman who had told her she was going to hell with her eyes wide open because she refused to go up to the altar and get sanctified. I had quite a talk with her and showed her what the Bible said on these things, and reas sured her in the faith.—R. Neglect of the Quiet Hour had caused a high school girl to yield to the influence of worldly associates. Indulgence in pleas ure did not bring the expected enjoyment, but led her, unhappy and miserable, to seek help in the Rose Room. There a quiet talk with the teacher led to a confession before the Great Advocate, who gave not only the promised peace of forgiveness but victory in a surrendered will. The next week found her there again with happy face, praising God that her testimony had been used of Plim to the conversion of the very friend who had led her astray.— S. A few cases for the prayer of faith: One who is just beginning to study theosophy; one professing to be saved by doing her duty by her children—no time to attend church; one who has never even read the Bible—French, but speaks English; a Jew ish woman, liberal, in great trouble.— M.
