UD Farm Wetland Mitigation Project
Landmark Science & Engineering would like to thank CDA Engineering , Fusco Properties , and University of Delaware for the opportunity afforded to our environmental scientists to create a new palustrine forested wetland adjacent to an existing forest wetland at the UD Newark Farm property. Kudos to the developer who selflessly increased the wetland mitigation ratio from 2:1 (required by USACE) to 3:1. Landmark staff identified potenial sites, conducted seasonal high ground- water and soil investigations, created a Wetland Mitigation Plan Report, supervised mitigation construction, plantings, and will monitor the wetland for five years.
