Selecting the right vaccine All Boehringer Ingelheim FMD vaccines are authorized by National animal health authorities. • Always purchase the required vaccine from a reliable veterinary source and avoid buying more than necessary for the operation. • Always carefully read the label on the vaccine bottle to make sure that the proper vaccine is selected. • Always check the color, general appearance, consistency (homogeneous without precipitates), batch number and expiry date. Staff training All staff must be fully trained and educated in Good Vaccination Practice before administering vaccine.
