Luxurious turkish hospitality at its best . The lobby is amazing. The welcome is 5 star and their house keeping service staff is impeccable ( second floor room). Working in the 5 star hospitality my self i recommend this hotel. Such a beautiful hotel. Second time we stayed here in the last few months and I think this hotel is perfect for location and luxury. We have toured the whole city and this is our preferred location to stay - right next to ferry terminal and short taxi ride to old town. We did walk back from centre and it was pleasantly manageable! Staff are incredibly helpful and the late checkout was much appreciated - thank you.
Throughout our stay, we felt welcome and special. From the greeting by the doorman, to the friendliness of your receptionist to the attentiveness of your concierge. We truly had a lovely experience. The team at Shang Palace were lovely and similarly the team at ISTOO. We loved that everyone remembered my mom’s birthday. Additionally, the service team for the rooms was Exceptionally friendly. We will certainly come back many times. The location, the ambiance, the staff, I wouldn’t want to explore another property when in Istanbul . We definitely found our hotel for visits to Istanbul - with the help of the lady at the reception the next visit is already booked!
the staff at IST TOO for breakfast welcomed me by name every single day which was a excellent gesture. Greetings , i would like to mention our housekeeper tim tim (i hope this is how it is spilled) as she was very attentive and extremely professional. Another honorable mention goes to the on duty manager who came in personally at our breakfast table and congratulated us on my birthday, i would definitely visit again when I am in town I’ve been at this hotel about 9 yrs ago and was amazed , so the fact of going again to Istanbul it was a must visit again and the hotel , staff and Shangri La amazed me again .
It's hard to choose as the quality is there in every aspect of the stay. The staff is warm, welcoming and very respectful. During your stay, they even try to learn your first names by heart to make you feel important . The hotel is super well located. You are close to everything. The view is incredible. The rooms are luxurious. Really nothing to say, it was breathtaking. Definitely recommend and will visit the place again , the experience was unforgettable Everything was perfect, staff were so helpful, professional, caring, friendly, so class. Breakfast was amazing and very calming environment All places were so clean and organized Housekeeping is super excellent Reception: very helpful and available all time Location is nearby everything
