Home Health Care Services - PASSED (AARP Supported) House Bill 1353, by Representative Franklin (companion Senate Bill 1412, by Senator Calatayud). Approved by Governor; Chapter No. 2025-127, effective July 1, 2025. The legislation strengthens home health care by increasing workforce flexibility, improving service delivery and reducing regulatory hurdles that can delay care. It removes geographic restrictions, allowing administrators to oversee up to five agencies, thereby promoting management efficiency. Additionally, it permits providers to contract registered nurses to conduct initial patient visits, service evaluation visits, and discharge visits.
