Municipal Water and Sewer Utility Rates - VETOED (AARP Supported) House Bill 11, by Representative Robinson (companion Senate Bill 202, by Senator Jones). The legislation would have clarified the definitions within section 125.011, Florida Statues. The legislation aimed to standardize charges between residents inside and outside a municipality for municipal water and sewer rates. If a municipality provides water or sewer service to consumers in another municipality it must charge those consumers the same rates, fees, and charges as it charges customers within its boundaries.
