Local Housing Assitance Plans - FAILED (AARP Supported) House Bill 701, by Representatives Stark & Berfield (companion Senate Bill 1714, by Senator Burton). Legislation would have amended 420, Florida Statutes. Local housing assistance would have been expanded through the legislation, with State Housing Incentives Partnership Program funds made available for lot rental aid to mobile homeowners. Municipalities would have been required to plan for park closures, and fund eligibility for rehabilitation and emergency repair funding would have been broadened.
