What was he most valuable thing you learned in the internship program? Have you applied what you learned to your life? The most valuable thing I learned in my internship is how to effectively communicate with people. Sometimes people have worries or are upset, and finding a way to build common ground and maintain a good relationship is a skill I will use in work and life. What is your favorite memory from the internship? Towards the end of the summer, I had the opportunity to visit the corporate headquarters in California to learn more about the company and meet with executive leadership. I also got to meet all the interns that shared the same summer I had
Where are you currently employed? What is your job title? Currently a student at Virginia Tech.
Why would you recommend our internship program? There are a few reasons why I recommend the internship program. One reason is the people. For both of my internships, I had nothing but great experiences with my on-site team, internship coordinators, and people on the corporate level. It was always a warm environment and everyone was encouraging and wanting you to succeed. Another reason to recommend the internship is opportunity. Trinity has three different internships for different grade levels, giving you room to grow and take on more responsibility. Finally, Trinity’s internship provides the most perks out of all other internships I’ve seen. The furnished one-bedroom apartment and trip to California for Real Estate Management Interns are two examples of things that Trinity provides that other internships don’t.
