2017 Market Share Repor t

The 2017 Market Share Report encompassing July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017 was recently completed and we thought we?d fill you in on why this report is so important.

Ever wondered how each branch is performing in each of our markets or how well Bank of the Sierra is doing next to its competitors?Well, this nifty document shows you everything you need to know from a branch, city, county, and even state level.

The numbers can sometimes look like a convoluted maze of nonsense, but once you get the general concept of its sole purpose, it starts to look a lot more interesting. This wonderful piece of documentation can show you the highest performing branch right down to the lowest, while showing you exactly when a certain market hit its peak or when it took a complete nose dive ? we hope not. This document helps our Market Presidents to see when they are performing at their best, and where their market could use a pick me up. Additionally, we are able to gauge our performance over a period of time, from a percentage perspective, and a competition standpoint. Now that you have a better understanding of what a Market Share Report entails, we encourage you to take a look at the 2017 Market Share Report and see if it all makes a little more sense now. Please let Marketing know if you are interested in additional details. Check out the 2017 Market Share Repor t here>

Equifax

As many of you may know, Equifax, one of the largest credit reporting agencies, was breached on September 7, 2017. Hackers were able to access sensitive personal information such as social security numbers, addresses, driver license numbers, and birth dates. It is important to keep our customers top of mind when it comes to any situation of this scale. To help keep our customers informed about this breach, we have added an Equifax Breach tab to the website that provides our customers with the necessary resources to stay ahead of the curve.

Please direct any customers that think they might be a victim of the Equifax Breach to our website: https:/ / www.bankofthesierra.com/ resources/ equifax-data-breach/ .

MARKETING

In every company, branding is everything! As most of you may know, Bank of the Sierra received a makeover including a brand new modern logo in 2014. This is how people recognize Bank of the Sierra among count less compet ing banks. When our customers see our logo, they think about the great customer experience they receive every t ime they come into contact with one of our staf f members, they think of our amazing Sierra Grant Program that so generously gives back to their community and ours, and they think about our mission of making ?every community we?re part of bet ter.? To reinforce our Bank of the Sierra brand, we ask that you please remove any items with the old bank logo or any other bank?s logo f rom your branch including any Bank of the Sierra sponsored events.

The fol lowing logos are a few examples of what should never be displayed in place of Bank of the Sierra?s current logo:
