Georgia to Face LSU in SEC Championship

The Top-ranked Georgia Bulldogs clinched a berth in the 2022 SEC Championship Game with a 45-19 victory over Mississippi State in front of 60,352 fans at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkeville, MS on November 12. UGA Quarterback Stetson Bennett completed 25-of-37 passes for 289 yards and three touchdowns against MSU. He also rushed for a score in the win. Overall, Georgia finished with 468 total yards. Mississippi State quarterback Will Rogers passed for 261 and a touchdown. Teammate Zavion Thomas returned a punt for a touchdown against the visiting Bulldogs. Georgia is set to face LSU in the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta on Saturday, December 3, following games at Kentucky (Nov. 19) and at home against Georgia Tech (Nov. 26). Georgia will represent the East for the second straight year, the fifth time in six seasons, and for the 10th time overall. LSU clinched the SEC West with a 13-10 victory over Arkansas on November 12. The Tigers have won four straight games, including two win over teams ranked in the top 10. LSU defeated No. 7 Ole Miss and No. 6 Alabama to help secure a spot in the SEC Championship game.

Alabama Football Moves to 8-2 with win over Ole Miss

Pierce The Sports Ledger The University of Alabama football program avoided losing two straight games by scoring on five of its last six possessions against Mississippi, including four of its five second-half drives, for a 30-24 come-from-behind victory over the Ole Miss Rebels on Saturday, November 12, 2022. Alabama was behind 10 points in the first half but rallied late for the win to improve to 8-2 overall. The Crimson Tide has now won seven straight games over Ole Miss. Bryce Young led Alabama with 209 yards passing and three touchdowns. Young has now thrown for 7,471 yards in his career, moving him past Tua Tagovailoa (7,442) into third place on the school’s all-time passing yardage list. The Crimson Tide’s Triple “J” threat was back for the first time in several weeks. Jase McClellan led Alabama’s ground game with a career-high 19 carries totaling 84 yards. Jermaine Burton, Ja’Corey Brooks and Cameron Latu each caught a touchdown pass in the win. Alabama kicker Will Reichard was a perfect 3 of 3 on field goals in the second half. Reichard converted the game-winner from 23 yards out with 11:19 to go in the contest. He also made a 49-yarder to give the Crimson Tide a

The Tigers proved that they are improving with a 13-10 home victory over Texas A&M the following week, November 12. The Tigers currently have a 4-6 overall record with only two games left this season. The Tigers will host Western Kentucky on November 19 and travel to Tuscaloosa for the annual Iron Bowl battle against Alabama on November 26. tackles, including nine solo stops, and a pair of pass breakups. Jaxson Dart led Ole Miss with 212 yards passing and a touchdown. Quinshon Judkins had 135 yards rushing and two touchdowns for Ole Miss.
