Swansea offers not only a great course but also fantastic professional development opportunities alongside studying. As well as being a select university to run an internship module in the Senedd Cymru/ Welsh Parliament, they are one of only a small amount of institutions in the UK which offers a parliamentary studies module in direct conjunction with Westminster. I was successful to secure a 5-week work experience placement in the University’s in-house law clinic. During this time, I also had a personal career advisor who was there to talk about CVs, interviews, etc. As a student, I have received regular notifications from the employability team informing me of any talks, internships, jobs, or graduate opportunities which may optimise my own professional development.
