After seven years of service, Karen successfully completed her term as Board President. Karen remains actively engaged as the Immediate Past President, advocating for the organizations’ mission and objectives. She is a dedicated advocate for diversity in technology, as demonstrated when Karen founded BDPA Northern Delaware, leading the chapter to prominence in STEM education and mentorship. Her occasional volunteer work with the Innovative Leadership Program underscores her passion for empowering the next generation in STEM careers. Her academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Management, and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership, which underpin her professional and educational endeavors. Karen imparts has previously contributed to the development of others as an Adjunct Professor at Wilmington University’s College of Technology. Karen’s personal life is rooted in Bear, Delaware, where she takes pride in her family as a devoted wife and mother of two adult sons.
