Our computer-based “brain gym” is a tool that few outpatient facilities have. This tool is key for our clients as we discover that they are in the early stages of memory loss. Our therapists use this cognitive tool and others to measure a patient’s cognitive ability and address any opportunities for improvement. Wecan also help our clients createa safer homeenvironment, again, to help them maintain their home independence. Significant Improvement in Cognitive Performance In a peer-reviewed clinical trial conducted by the UCLA School of Medicine, published in July 2013, Dakim BrainFitness was shown to significantly improve the two most important cognitive functions —memory (immediate and delayed) and language abilities — as users strengthen attention, focus, and concentration.
