LT.-GEN. PAUL WYNNYK, CMM, MSM, CD, P.ENG. APRIL 26, 2019 A career soldier whose work has taken him around the world, Canada’s Vice Chief of the Defence Staff Lt.-Gen. Paul Wynnyk, CMM, MSM, CD, P.Eng., is the speaker for this year’s AGM luncheon. Serving in a wide range of command and staff assignments, including four years in Germany, Lt.-Gen. Wynnyk has had tours with the UN Advance Mission and the UN Transitional Authority in Cambodia, and an assignment as the Canadian Task Force Commander and Mission Chief of Operations of the UN Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In 2009, he was posted to
the Combined Security Transition Command—Afghanistan, as the Assistant Commanding General responsible for overseeing the development of the Afghan Ministry of Defense and the Afghan National Army. On July 16 last year, he was named to his current position. Buy your tickets at apegaconference.ca .
