This is an opportunity to own an amazing quilt from the collection of Roderick Kiracofe, an expert on American quilts. In addition, this experience includes an exclusive visit to Roderick ’ s studio in Petaluma, where you can open and view museum-quality quilts. The pattern on the quilt is often referred to as “ Baseball ” or “ Fireball, ” but we don't know what the maker called it. The dealer/picker I purchased it from referred to it as "Blood Red Moons." It was purchased in Alabama from an African American family by the last name of Wright. Unfortunately, Roderick wasn ’ t given the maker ’ s name, and they remain unknown.
