Private session at SCRAP for up to 3 people to make soft solder jewelry creations! Bring shells, seaglass, and other non-flammable pieces to up-cycle into beautiful wearables. The class will be 2-3 hours and all tools will be onsite and available for use. Lily Marylander is a San Francisco-based artist whose work explores the intersections of identity, memory, and the taboo through mixed media arts.Born in Wuhan, China, and adopted at 13 months old by her Chinese mother and Jewish father, Lily grew up in Oakland, California, surrounded by diverse perspectives and cultures. Currently a BFA candidate at California College of the Arts, Lily is pursuing a double major in Sculpture and Jewelry Metal Arts, along with a minor in Ecological Practices.
