A xeric garden is installed in the fall or winter and will need no water after it ’ s established. In this workshop, our wonderful horticulturalist, Clarke de Mornay will share his wealth of knowledge on this topic A xeric garden, also known as xeriscaping, is a style of gardening that uses minimal water by incorporating drought-tolerant plants and water-saving landscaping techniques. Derived from the Greek word xeros ( “ dry ” ), it is designed to thrive on natural rainfall and is popular in arid regions or areas focused on water conservation. A xeric garden can be beautiful, vibrant, and diverse, and does not have to consist solely of rocks and cacti. Get inspired on IG, follow Clarke @atlasblume and Flora Grubb Gardens @floragrubbgardens
