CUTTING BOARD CLASS at Mission
Community Woodshop
This six hour woodworking experience will give participants the opportunity to learn to mill a rough piece of cherry or maple into a beautiful cutting board. It offers time on professional grade machine and hand tools. Mission Community Woodshop was founded by longtime friends Andrew Salverda and Dan Matz, who are also teachers (Urban School, SF Friends, Randall Museum, Nueva). Integral to the MCW vision is a commitment to making woodworking accessible to a wide range of San Franciscans. “ Together we are building a tight-knit, inclusive community of good-natured woodworkers – accomplished and amateur alike – to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. ”
