■ Career achievements: Extensive development and humanitarian experience having lived in Ethiopia, Fiji, Zimbabwe and Zambia overseeing complex humanitarian responses in numerous countries across Africa, including as Country Director for a US$60 million drought and refugee response programme. Director of Human Rights for the Inter-governmental body of the Pacific, SPC. Initiated the Denarau Declaration for Human Rights and Development and represented the Marshall Islands Government delegation to the Human Rights Council in Geneva. Co-founder of the Toilet Twinning Movement which to date has raised over £8 million in indirect funding for INGOs working in water and sanitation.
