■ Career achievements: Planned and executed the deployment of over 1,200 troops, vehicles, material, and equipment from the UK to Jordan for a major British Army exercise. Led a 300 strong task force to manage the in-country logistic support chain and the UK air- bridge during the three-month deployment. Mentored the senior leadership of an Afghan National Army Battalion to develop logistics, transport, equipment support, medical support and patient care, while operating in an austere combat environment. Managed the storage, distribution and quality control of all food and catering services, including £10 million worth of conservancy contracts, to support British Forces in Iraq during 2004.
